This collection comprises materials created and collected by Eunice Caldwell Cowles. These materials consist of letters, transcripts, speeches, and photographs. One main topic of the collection is the Wheaton College Female Seminary.

It includes a copy of the speech she gave at the fiftieth-anniversary celebration of Wheaton Seminary in 1885 as well as its transcript. The folder also contains a speech titled "Autumnal Memories" which Eunice Caldwell Cowles gave at the First Church in Ipswich, Mass on 1898 October 30. This speech is bound in a small book, possibly by someone named Augustine Caldwell. There is also a document titled "Where is Norton?" which takes the form of a speech, but was probably not formally given.)
