This collection comprises correspondence, business and information cards, scripts of speeches, obituaries, and photographs created by, for, or about A. Ellen Stanton. Notable people involved in the collection include Eliza Baylies Chapin Wheaton, Dr. Samuel Valentine Cole, Caroline L. Blake, S. C. Stanton, Pauline Holmes, Marian D. Merrill, "Vinnie" Gould, and Miss Clara M. Pike.

Written on a page from a poetry book, one "The Poet" by Mrs. Schuyler van Rensselaer. One speech written about Stanton after her death, delivered by Dr. Samuel Cole on 1924 February 9 in the Wheaton chapel. Also contains one poem written by Caroline L. Blake, class of 1916, after Stanton's death in 1924, titled "The Wheaton Alumnae to Miss Stanton.")
