Scope and Contents

Contains photographs in color and black and white, 35mm film negatives, 35mm slides, black and white transparencies, and written material pertaining to the exhibit Ancient Images of Mexico and the Andes. The exhibit included works by Nancy Barton, including Anthropomorphic Figure, Forrest Children Alpaca, Amulet I, Keru, Amulet, Ceremonial Blade, Lace Fish, Omen III, Shadow Drape, Emerald Cat, Monkeys, and Trout. Museums the exhibit was shown in include Science and Art Museum, McNay Art Institute San Antonio, Santa Fe Museum of Fine Arts, Walker Museum of Art, Montgomery Fine Arts Museum, The Textile Museum. Artwork Omen III is listed to reside in the private collection of Kathleen & Evan Haynes. Artwork Amulet is listed to reside in the private collection of Senator Hugh Scott. Artwork Trout is listed to reside in the personal collection of Judge Thomas W. Pomeroy, Jr. of Pennsylvania.
