Biographical / Historical
"This is the pillow in use summer and winter by the Chinese ____. The very poor have a similar of bamboo. The bed is simply straw-matting in summer placed on a bedstead. In winter straw is placed inside matting or woolen mats are used with a very thickly stuffed coverlid."
