Manuscripts of published and unpublished works written by Harriet E. Paine, “The Story of the Parzival of Wolfram Von Eschenbach;” “Alcestis of Euripides;” “Dorothea Lynde Dix;” “The Women of Anthony Trollop;” “The Women of Thackeray;” and “William Lloyd Garrison and Some Other Abolitionists” exist as part of her manuscript collection.



Also included in the Harriet E. Paine manuscripts is the correspondence from Harriet E. Paine to Mr. William Lord concerning the Civil War, 1861; to Mr. Chapin concerning her biography of Mrs. Wheaton, 1906; to Mary, in which Harriet discusses her plans; and to Wheaton President Dr. Samuel V. Cole concerning clippings about Wheaton Seminary’s war efforts, 1915.
