Susan Hayes Ward's collection includes poems, songs and papers. Her Christmas greeting entitled “The Royal Guest” and the song “Fair Wheaton for the 75th Anniversary” are both part of Susan Ward's collection. Poems written by Susan for A Wheaton Month are: “First Day;” “Fifth Day;” “Seventeenth Day;” “Twentieth Day;” and “Twenty-sixth Day.” Also parts of her collection are sections from Susan’s copy book, 1854-57 and a copy of the winter term role book, 1854-55.
