Arechaga Family manuscript
Abstract
At the request of José Manuel, Agustín Domingo, and Louisde Arechaga, Don Juan Alonso Guerra y Sandoval, the Principal King of Arms of Spain, prepared this history of the nobility of the Arechaga family and its branches, including Mendieta, Aguirre, Vergara, and Asteyza. The family is Basque and the history of the ancestors involves events in that region.

Physical Description
Coat of arms loose at front, binding is slightly pulled at top of spine and free endpapers lacking. The edges of all leaves have been tinted green (which is unusual).

This manuscript collection was purchased for $2,175.00 in 2006 from the Philadelphia Rare Books and Manuscripts Company.
