The PERSONAL series spans the years 1918 to 2002, with bulk dates being 1918-1961. These dates correspond to A. Howard Meneely's time before, during his time at Wheaton and after. Sub-series include: Correspondence, Norton Lions Club Den Digest, Newspaper Clippings, Publications, Insurance and Hospital Bills, Funeral, and Mildred Meneely's Death Notice. A. Howard Meneely's correspondence and publications compose the largest part of this series. Correspondence: included a wide range of people, such as Peter H. Odegard, Raymond B. Allen, William D. Lambert and etc. Norton Lions Cub Den Digest: consists of a single pamphlet. It shows A. Howard Meneely's personal interest in the club. Newspaper clippings mostly consist of A. Howard Meneely being inaugurated as President of Wheaton College. Publications include the materials that A. Howard Meneely wrote over the years. Hospital and Insurance Bills show the health problems that A. Howard Meneely suffered from 1960 to 1961. The final sub-series, Death Notice of Mildred D. Meneely includes a single piece of paper that describes when Mildred Meneely passed away.
